Insight Global is seeking a team of experienced, driven Senior Data Scientist to join an established health technology company sitting remotely in the EST or CST timezone. This is a full-time, permanent role with competitive salary, bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

In this role, the Data Scientist will play a pivotal role in integration AI technology into a massive RCM platform. The engineer will implement the technology strategy for the company's data engineering team, focusing on developing reusable software components, patterns, and tooling to address them. The Data Scientist will also influence behaviors through code reviews and hands on design sessions.

This role is remote, but requires frequent domestic travel for in-person collaboration. The location of these collaboration events is the most-centralized city based on where each team member lives. All travel and meal costs are covered by the company.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Develop, test, deploy, monitor, maintain, and continuously improve scalable data pipelines
• Build new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity
• Translate product concepts into project commitments that deliver incremental value to customers
• Actively contribute to the engineering team through code reviews and hands on design sessions
• Implements processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes
• Review and recommend architectural patterns for data access and performance that align with the companys best practices and platforms

Required skills and experience:

• 5+ years of coding experience with Microsoft SQL
• 3+ years working with big data technologies, specifically Databricks
• Proven experience working with AI Engineers to provide analysis, visualization, and technical testing
• Strong experience coding in Python
• 3+ years of engineering experience with Microsoft Azure cloud (Data Factory, Dataflows, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus)
• Experience delivering applications using componentized and distributed architectures using event driven patterns
• Experience working with healthcare datasets
